Support: Chavez (at 10pm), New Radiant Storm King. GBV to play 60 minute set at 11:15pm.
The supposed CBGB's audio recording circulating from 11/2/1994 is actually from this 11/4/1994 show at Tramps.
In the 1994 Tour Itinerary for the 11/4/1994 date at Tramps it has a note about the Matador contract signing that says "THE DAY GBV SIGN THE DOTTED LINE!!!!!!!!". In the supposed CBGB's recording circulating Bob mentions the following in his stage banter: "i'd like to raise a beer to a sweet relationship thing we got going tonight with matador...and thank chris and gerard" and mentions something about a party later at No Idea, which is a bar right near Tramps (or where Tramps was - closed in 1999, I believe).
The partial setlist GBVDB had for Tramps on 11/4/1994 was identical to the one that GBVDB had listed for CBGB's on the incorrect 11/2/1994 date except it was missing the opener ("A Salty Salute"), "Deathtrot" and "Pimple Zoo" were swapped, "Weed King" was missing after "Blimps Go 90", "Johnny Appleseed" was missing before "14 Cheerleader", and the only encore song listed was "Quality Of Armor" along with a note that said "Some additional encore songs besides Quality Of Armor were played". |
